No. Properties, additives, manufacturing controls, traceability and certifications differ by grade and supplier. Only the exact specified grade and documentation can be evaluated.

They may replace metal in selected designs where the validated polymer grade satisfies structural, thermal, environmental, fire-performance and regulatory requirements. Engineering approval is essential.

Glass- or carbon-fiber reinforced grades may be evaluated when additional stiffness, strength or dimensional performance is needed. Directional properties, fatigue and machining behavior must also be considered.
